Anti-EGFRvIII Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody is a highly specific antibody designed to detect EGFRvIII, a mutant form of the epidermal growth factor receptor characterized by an in-frame deletion of exons 2–7, resulting in a constitutively active receptor. EGFRvIII is most commonly expressed in glioblastoma and some other cancers, but not in normal tissues, making it a valuable tumor-specific marker. This rabbit monoclonal antibody offers excellent sensitivity and specificity for applications such as immunohistochemistry and Western blotting. It is widely used in cancer research and diagnostics to study EGFRvIII-driven tumorigenesis and to develop targeted therapies.
