The Anti-Muc-1 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody [Clone GRM489] is designed to specifically detect Mucin-1 (Muc-1), also known as CA 15-3 or DF3 antigen, a high molecular weight glycoprotein expressed on the apical surface of most epithelial cells and overexpressed in a wide variety of epithelial cancers, including breast, ovarian, pancreatic, and lung carcinomas. This antibody recognizes an epitope within the tandem repeat region of Muc-1, allowing robust detection of membranous and cytoplasmic Muc-1 in tumor tissues. GRM489 is ideal for both diagnostic and research applications, particularly in cancer biomarker studies, tumor progression analysis, and epithelial cell biology.
