Cadherin 17 Antibody

The Cadherin-17 Antibody (Clone SP183) is a rabbit monoclonal antibody specifically designed for the detection of Cadherin-17, also known as liver–intestine cadherin. Cadherin-17 is a transmembrane protein involved in cell adhesion and is highly expressed in gastrointestinal epithelium. This antibody is validated for use in immunohistochemistry (IHC), particularly on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissues. Clone SP183 offers high specificity and sensitivity, making it an excellent marker for gastrointestinal adenocarcinomas, including colorectal and gastric cancers. It is a valuable tool in differential diagnosis, especially for distinguishing primary gastrointestinal tumors from metastatic carcinomas.
