Calponin Antibody

The Calponin Antibody Clone CALP is a well-characterized mouse monoclonal antibody designed for the specific detection of calponin, an actin-binding protein prominently expressed in smooth muscle cells. This antibody is widely used in immunohistochemistry (IHC) and Western blot (WB) applications to identify smooth muscle differentiation in tissue samples. Optimized for formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissues, Clone CALP provides strong and specific cytoplasmic staining, making it an invaluable tool for distinguishing smooth muscle tumors such as leiomyomas and leiomyosarcomas from other soft tissue neoplasms. Its high specificity and minimal background staining ensure reliable results in both diagnostic and research settings.
