The CD99 / MIC2 (Clone MIC2/877) antibody is a highly specific mouse monoclonal antibody targeting the CD99 glycoprotein, a surface antigen encoded by the MIC2 gene. CD99 is expressed in a wide range of tissues and neoplasms, but its most critical diagnostic role is as a sensitive and specific marker for Ewing's Sarcoma and Primitive Neuroectodermal Tumors (PNETs). Clone MIC2/877 demonstrates strong membranous staining in CD99-positive tumors and is optimized for immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissues.
