Product Overview

Clone: A53-B/A2.26 (Ks19.1)

Cytokeratin 19 (KRT19) (Pancreatic Stem Cell Marker); Clone A53-B/A2.26 (Ks19.1) is a highly specific monoclonal antibody that targets Cytokeratin 19, a type I intermediate filament protein commonly expressed in simple epithelial tissues and a variety of epithelial-derived tumors. Recognized as a marker for pancreatic progenitor and stem-like cells, KRT19 is also expressed in tissues such as the liver, thyroid, gastrointestinal tract, and breast. Clone A53-B/A2.26 (Ks19.1) provides strong and reliable immunoreactivity in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissues, making it an essential tool in immunohistochemistry. It is widely used in diagnostic pathology to aid in the identification of carcinomas, as well as in the detection of micrometastases in lymph nodes and bone marrow. The antibody’s specificity and performance make it valuable for distinguishing epithelial from non-epithelial tumors and for characterizing tumors with stem-like features, particularly in pancreatic cancer research and diagnostics.
