The Cytokeratin 8 Monoclonal Antibody [Clone K8/383] is a highly specific mouse monoclonal antibody targeting cytokeratin 8 (CK8), a type II low molecular weight cytokeratin. CK8 is expressed predominantly in simple epithelial cells and is retained in many epithelial-derived tumors, particularly adenocarcinomas. Clone K8/383 provides strong cytoplasmic staining in tissues expressing CK8 and is useful in detecting epithelial tumors, including those from liver, colon, breast, and prostate.
