Product Overview

Clone: TS1

Cytokeratin 8 (KRT8); Clone TS1 (Concentrate) is a monoclonal antibody developed to specifically recognize Cytokeratin 8, a type II intermediate filament protein predominantly expressed in simple epithelial cells. The TS1 clone exhibits high specificity and sensitivity, making it a valuable tool in immunohistochemical staining of both normal and neoplastic epithelial tissues. This antibody is commonly used in diagnostic pathology to identify epithelial-derived tumors, including those of hepatic, pancreatic, and glandular origin, due to the widespread expression of KRT8 in these tissues. Provided in a concentrated format, Clone TS1 allows for customized dilution and protocol optimization based on laboratory needs. Its reliable performance in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections makes it suitable for routine histopathology and cancer diagnostics, aiding in tumor classification and differential diagnosis.
