The Cytokeratin, Acidic Monoclonal Antibody [Clone KRTL] is a mouse monoclonal antibody specifically designed to detect low molecular weight (LMW) cytokeratins, also classified as type I (acidic) cytokeratins, which are predominantly found in simple epithelial tissues. This antibody is a valuable tool in the diagnosis of epithelial tumors, especially adenocarcinomas and other glandular neoplasms. Clone KRTL demonstrates strong cytoplasmic staining in epithelial cells and is widely used for immunohistochemical evaluation of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue specimens.
