The Cytokeratin, Multi Antibody [Clone C11] is a mouse monoclonal antibody that recognizes a broad spectrum of cytokeratin proteins expressed in epithelial tissues. Designed as a pan-cytokeratin marker, Clone C11 is ideal for the identification and characterization of epithelial-derived tumors, including carcinomas. This antibody binds to multiple cytokeratin subtypes, allowing detection of both simple and stratified epithelial cells. It is commonly used in immunohistochemistry (IHC) on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissues and immunocytochemistry (ICC) to identify epithelial origin in tumor diagnostics.
