The Ep-CAM / CD326 (Extracellular Domain) Antibody [Clone Ber-EP4] is a highly specific mouse monoclonal antibody that recognizes an extracellular epitope of the epithelial cell adhesion molecule (Ep-CAM / CD326). This clone is one of the most clinically validated and widely used antibodies for identifying epithelial neoplasms, especially in distinguishing carcinomas from mesotheliomas and non-epithelial tumors. Ber-EP4 binds strongly to most epithelial cells and adenocarcinomas, while showing little to no reactivity with mesothelial cells, making it an essential tool in differential diagnosis.
