Estrogen Receptor, alpha (Marker of Estrogen Dependence)

The Estrogen Receptor alpha (ERα) Antibody [Clone ER506] is a highly specific mouse monoclonal antibody targeting ERα, a critical nuclear hormone receptor involved in regulating estrogen-mediated gene transcription. This antibody is widely used in breast cancer diagnostics, as well as in gynecologic malignancies, to determine hormone receptor status and guide therapy decisions. Clone ER506 offers robust nuclear staining on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissues, making it an excellent tool for routine immunohistochemical analysis of ERα expression in both normal and neoplastic tissues. It aids in the accurate classification of ER-positive vs. ER-negative tumors, which is crucial for prognosis and response prediction to endocrine therapies such as tamoxifen or aromatase inhibitors.
