Glycophorin A / CD235a (Erythrocyte Marker)

The Glycophorin A / CD235a Mouse Monoclonal Antibody (Clone GYPA/280) is a highly specific antibody developed to detect Glycophorin A (also known as CD235a), a major sialoglycoprotein expressed on the surface of human erythrocytes and erythroid precursors. This antibody is widely used as a sensitive and specific marker of erythroid lineage in normal and neoplastic hematopoietic tissues. Clone GYPA/280 is ideal for distinguishing erythroid cells in bone marrow biopsies, fine-needle aspirates, and in studies of hematopoietic differentiation and disorders such as erythroleukemia.
