The HCG-beta Monoclonal Antibody [Clone HCGb/211] is a mouse IgG1 antibody specifically designed to detect the beta subunit of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG-β). This subunit is unique to hCG, distinguishing it from other glycoprotein hormones such as LH, FSH, and TSH. Clone HCGb/211 is highly sensitive and specific, making it a valuable tool for detecting pregnancy-related tissue, choriocarcinoma, hydatidiform mole, and certain germ cell tumors. It is validated for use in immunohistochemistry (IHC) on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissues.
