IMP3 Antibody

The IMP3 Antibody (Rabbit Monoclonal, Clone EP286) from GeneBioSolution is a high-quality antibody optimized for immunohistochemistry (IHC) on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissues). IMP3 (Insulin-like Growth Factor II mRNA-Binding Protein 3) is an oncofetal protein involved in RNA trafficking, stability, and translation regulation, normally expressed during embryogenesis but re-expressed in malignancies. This antibody provides sensitive and specific cytoplasmic staining of IMP3 with minimal background. The EP286 clone is widely used as a diagnostic and prognostic marker in pathology, as IMP3 expression is strongly associated with malignant tumors including renal cell carcinoma, pancreatic carcinoma, ovarian carcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, and lung cancers. IMP3 immunohistochemistry is particularly useful in differentiating benign lesions from malignant tumors, such as distinguishing pancreatic intraepithelial neoplasia (PanIN) from pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma or benign renal lesions from renal cell carcinoma. Overexpression of IMP3 has also been correlated with tumor aggressiveness and poor clinical outcome, making it a valuable prognostic biomarker. All GeneBioSolution antibodies undergo rigorous validation and quality control, ensuring lot-to-lot consistency, strong cytoplasmic staining, and reproducible IHC results on both manual and automated staining systems.
