MUC6 (Mucin 6 / Gastric Mucin)

The MUC6 Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [Clone MUC6/916] is designed for the specific detection of Mucin 6 (MUC6), a high-molecular-weight glycoprotein predominantly expressed by the gastric pyloric glands, Brunner’s glands, and endocervical glands. This antibody provides strong and specific cytoplasmic staining, making it ideal for identifying gastric-type mucinous differentiation. MUC6/916 is an excellent tool for distinguishing gastric from intestinal phenotypes and is especially useful in the analysis of gastrointestinal, pancreatic, and gynecological neoplasms.
