Product Overview

Clone: 6A9

P-Cadherin (CDH3), Clone 6A9, is a monoclonal antibody specifically developed to detect P-cadherin, a calcium-dependent cell adhesion molecule of the cadherin superfamily that is predominantly expressed in the basal layers of epithelial tissues. P-cadherin plays a key role in mediating cell-cell adhesion, maintaining tissue architecture, and regulating cellular processes such as proliferation and differentiation. Aberrant expression of P-cadherin has been associated with the progression and aggressiveness of several epithelial cancers, including breast, prostate, and colorectal carcinomas. Clone 6A9 offers strong and specific membranous staining in P-cadherin-expressing cells and is optimized for immunohistochemical application on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections. This antibody is widely used in both diagnostic pathology and research to assess tumor characteristics, prognosis, and potential therapeutic targeting. Its high specificity and reliable staining performance make Clone 6A9 a valuable reagent for studying epithelial biology and tumor pathology.
