Topoisomerase (DNA) I, Mitochondrial (TOP1MT)

This mouse monoclonal antibody [Clone: TOP1MT/488] specifically detects Topoisomerase (DNA) I, Mitochondrial (TOP1MT), a key nuclear-encoded enzyme that localizes to mitochondria and plays a critical role in the regulation of mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) topology. TOP1MT is essential for mtDNA replication, transcription, and repair. Dysregulation of this enzyme has been implicated in mitochondrial dysfunction and associated pathologies, including cancer and neurodegeneration. This antibody is ideal for use in studies of mitochondrial dynamics, mtDNA stability, and mitochondrial-linked metabolic disorders. It is validated for use in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissues and various immunoassays.
