Terminally developed T-cells and subsets of natural killer(NK) cells display CD57, also referred to as HNK-1 (humannatural killer-1), a cell surface carbohydrate epitope.Neural crest-derived cells have also been found to containit. Non-neoplastic bystander T-cells are frequentlyvisualised using CD57 antibodies. In nodular lymphocyte-predominant Hodgkin lymphoma (NLPHL), these T-cellshave been observed to form rosettes surroundingneoplastic lymphocyte-predominant (LP) cells.
