The alpha subunit of the cell surface receptor that controlsregulatory T-cells is called CD25, or interleukin-2 receptoralpha chain. Numerous haematological cancers, such asadult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma and hairy cell leukaemia,have been found to express CD25.
