CD14 (EPR3653)

CD14 is a membrane-bound protein of 55kDa, connected by glycosyl-phosphatidylinositol, and participates in endotoxin attachment and identification of cells undergoing programmed deathThis protein, CD14is found on monocytes, macrophages, follicular dendritic cells, and granulocytes. Antibodies against CD14 are useful in identifying these cells, such as cells originating from monocytes which often appear in greater numbers in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), in addition to cancerous cells in acute myeloid leukemia displaying monocytic differentiation and chronic myelomonocytic leukemia.
